Okay parents. It’s that time. We know many of you are clamoring for that brand new iPhone 7, I know I am. I have to wait another six months until my contract is up, but you might be lucky enough to be able to get one now. So, what to do with that old iPhone? Well, I have a great idea for you. DONATE IT TO HUBBARD WOODS SCHOOL! We have about two dozen Google Cardboard Viewers, but no phones to put in them.
We can use any iPhone newer/older than the iPhone 5. So, if you have an old iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6, or 6S sitting in a drawer somewhere, please bring them to Mr. Burleson ASAP! We are currently working on a 3D tour of the IDEA Lab and Libratory and it would be amazing if the kids could actually slide a phone into the viewer and experience it in 3D. Are you wondering how in the world Google Cardboard works? Me too! Here is a great video explaining it!
Now, if you are planning to donate your phone, please take a look at this video to make sure that you have wiped it clean.
