The Hubbard Woods IDEA Lab began in 2014. Parents and educators came together to dream up the space. We traveled to schools throughout the midwest to interview others who had created spaces like we hoped to make. We asked what worked and what didn’t; what they could have done without and what they HAD to have.
We took all of this and formed our very own dream plan. Through a generous grant from our PTO we began transforming our library and created a truly flexible environment that encourages staff and students to be active participants in their learning.
